Three Bronze Awards...
I am over the moon to have been awarded three bronze awards at the Portrait Masters.
Two images were from a recent lifestyle portrait shoot of Sammi, my fantastic red head model. She is a joy to photograph with her energy and smile. I shot the photographs in my lifestyle stylised style and worked on the images in post to enhance them and create a mood that is my signature style.
The third was a more traditional studio portrait of my daughter Lottie, I got her to sit for me as a guinea pig in my new studio and lighting set up. I worked on getting the painterly look in post production. I feel that I achieved the texture and dark but warm tones that I was after.
